Well here’s someone who finally made Fetch happen.
Global marketing agency Dentsu Aegis Network is expanding its mobile capabilities by acquiring London-based mobile ads agency Fetch.
Fetch will continue to operate under its own brand and management, bringing over its many brand clients such as Expedia.com and Hotels.com to the Dentsu network. Fetch will report to Robert Horler, Chief Executive Officer of Northern Europe, Dentsu Aegis Network, who takes on responsibility for overseeing the continued global development of Fetch at Dentsu Aegis Network.
“With consumers increasingly engaging with brands through mobile devices, mobile media has become a critical part of the communication ecosystem and a key driver for business outcomes,” say Horler. “Growing our digital profile across all capabilities is one of our five strategic priorities and this deal clearly recognises the potential we see in both Fetch and the wider mobile market.”
