BBDO Worldwide's BBDO Detroit unit named FastChannel Network Inc., Boston, to deliver newspaper, radio and television advertising to the media on the agency's behalf.
With this appointment, BBDO Detroit aims to have greater control over the distribution process and spur process improvements because of more automation.
The agency's biggest account is DaimlerChrysler and its divisions and brands including Dodge, Jeep and Chrysler. It has held the account for 20 years, servicing it out of Detroit and 66 field offices.
