McDonald’s has partnered with Pokémon to bring a special promotion to Happy Meals across the United States. The collaboration includes a Pokémon-themed Happy Meal box, a Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) booster pack containing four of 15 available cards, a poster, and a sticker sheet. Customers who purchase a Happy Meal through the McDonald’s app will also receive an in-game bonus for the Pokémon TCG Pocket app.

The bonus includes hourglasses that allow users to open digital booster packs and select digital cards. Guillaume Huin, senior marketing director at McDonald’s, expressed his excitement about the campaign, stating, “There’s nothing more exciting than when we can bring campaigns to our fans with partners that we’re fans of ourselves. Much like they do for McDonald’s, our fans have deep nostalgia and love for the Pokémon brand.

The Happy Meal boxes feature designs with popular Pokémon characters such as Charizard, Pikachu, Dragonite, Rayquaza, and Roaring Moon.
