Remedy Corp., Mountain View, CA, yesterday announced it is forming a strategic partnership with e-commerce software company PartNET, Salt Lake City, to deliver customized online catalogs for its Remedy Purchasing@Work procurement solution.
Remedy Purchasing@Work said its solutions will help companies maximize their purchasing and order processes while simultaneously reducing costs. It claims its systems can be cost-efficient within six months for companies handling 5,000 or more purchase orders per year.
“By using online, real-time catalogs developed with PartNET, our Remedy Purchasing@Work users can buy more efficiently from approved vendors and thereby reduce maverick spending,” said Todd Basche, general manager of Remedy's Employee Workplace automation division.
A key benefit provided by online catalogs is often reduced operating costs resulting from employees only buying from the most efficient vendors and suppliers. Remedy said more than 60 percent of Fortune 100 companies currently use Remedy products.
