Direct Marketing News is now accepting nominations for its 2013 40 Under 40 Awards. Winners will be featured in the October 2013 issue of Direct Marketing News and online.
The Direct Marketing News 40 Under 40 Awards honors the brightest and most ambitious professionals in the integrated, digital, and traditional direct marketing fields. Nominated by vendors, managers, or peers and selected by our editors, these superstars are outstanding senior-level professionals who have achieved impressive milestones by their 40th birthdays. These talented leaders will be chosen from all marketing disciplines, across industries. They may run marketing for big brands or lead top accounts at major agencies, but they all have demonstrated a proven ability to initiate growth for their companies, obtain measurable results, and deliver fresh insight into harnessing new opportunities and overcoming challenges in marketing today.
Nominees must be:
- Under 40 years old as of October 1, 2013
- A client-side/brand marketer: a senior marketing executive (e.g., director, VP, SVP, CMO) at any type of organization
- Or a senior executive (e.g., president, CEO, marketing VP, CMO) at a marketing services company; for example, a creative agency, marketing services firm, data or list company, or technology firm (CRM, marketing automation, etc.) that supports/sells to marketers
Nomination instructions are on the entry form.
Extended deadline: Friday, June 21, 2013.
Winners will be notified by July 22, 2013. Acceptance of the award requires an interview for the print and online editions of Direct Marketing News—within our deadline. Additionally, winners will be invited to attend the photo shoot for the print edition, as well as a swank awards luncheon featuring a keynote presentation and panel discussion of winners on success strategies and leadership. Both the awards luncheon and photo shoot will be held on September 12, 2013 in San Francisco. Agenda details and venue to be announced.
