What has been your proudest career accomplishment to date?
Empowering my team to become leaders – there is truly nothing more rewarding than having individuals learn and be inspired from you and seeing them grow into experts in the digital advertising industry. Creating a culture alongside the visionaries of Blue Water Ads has been the biggest honor – a place where we do not simply tell people to do their jobs but rather trust people to get the job done and inspire leaders.
What’s the best piece of advice you can give to future 40 under 40 honorees?
Patience and gratitude – success does not come overnight but it is the daily hustle and work that you put in that will allow you to create your empire. Be grateful for those who have encouraged you, appreciate you and taught you. Go into what you do with the mindset to give without expectation.
What do you hope to accomplish in the next 5 years?
I hope to find myself in a place where I am still learning from this ever-growing industry, continue to lead with the mindset of a digital entrepreneur and work alongside the best and brightest of Blue Water Ads.
What is one interesting fact about you that few people know?
I graduated high school early at 16 because I always had a strong entrepreneurial spirit that came from seeing my father pursue and succeed in achieving the American dream. I went to community college to take business classes and found myself enjoying this. I also attribute a huge part of my success to being a Model United Nations member, which championed writing and public speaking skills.
