So I came to the local Apple Store today. I wanted to decide on the color and size of the iPhone 16 Pro for next year. I already have a preorder for the compact iPhone 16 Pro in Desert Titanium. After carefully checking out everything I left the store with the desire to get 16… pic.twitter.com/E47FK3uTtc

The iPhone 16 lineup includes the iPhone 16 Pro Max and iPhone 16 Pro in desert titanium, as well as the iPhone 16 Plus and iPhone 16 in ultramarine. The new models feature Camera Control for easier photo capturing, a 48MP Fusion camera system, and the Action button for quick access to features. The iPhone 16 Pro models have larger displays, enhanced camera capabilities, and improved battery life.
I do wonder if Apple should have kept Apple Intelligence as an iPhone 16 exclusive. Allowing it to run on the 15 Pro/Pro Max doesn’t really benefit the business. Would have made the 16 a stronger update. The marketing messaging makes it clear they know this too.

iPhone 16 Pro display enhancements
Customers buying directly from Apple can receive personalized support for setting up their devices and exploring iOS 18 features, including Apple Intelligence. This innovation aims to enhance learning capabilities about objects and places. It will initially be available in beta as part of iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia 15.1, and will expand to support more languages and platforms throughout the coming year.
Customers can finance their purchases through Apple Card Monthly Installments at 0 percent APR and receive 3 percent Daily Cash back. Apple also offers convenient delivery and pickup options at local Apple Stores. The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max feature a Grade 5 titanium design with a microblasted finish, making them strong yet lightweight.
The models come in Desert Titanium, Black Titanium, White Titanium, and Natural Titanium colors, with the thinnest borders ever on an Apple product for larger, immersive displays. The A18 Pro chip powers the new iPhones, promising significant improvements in battery life and sustained performance. The Camera Control feature allows users to adjust settings like exposure and depth of field easily, while the two-stage shutter enables focus and exposure locking.
The 48MP Fusion camera and second-generation quad-pixel sensor work with the A18 Pro chip to deliver stunning 4K 120 fps Dolby Vision video recording. The iPhone 16 Pro also features audio improvements, including four studio-quality microphones and Spatial Audio capture technology. Apple Intelligence, a personal intelligence system, aids in writing, communication, and various tasks while maintaining strict privacy protections.
The Ultra Wide camera elevates photo and video quality with its advanced 48MP quad-pixel sensor, and the Apple Camera Interface enables frame-by-frame cinema-quality color grading in 4K 120 fps Dolby Vision. For the first time, users can shoot 3D videos and photos on the iPhone 16 Pro and view them on Apple Vision Pro, creating an immersive experience with Spatial Audio.
