Ranbir Kapoor recently shared insights about his sister Riddhima Sahni’s personality, comparing her to their late father, Rishi Kapoor. In a new episode of Fabulous Lives Vs. Bollywood Wives S3, Kapoor discussed Riddhima’s temper and honest nature, traits that resemble their father.
Rishi Kapoor, a well-known Bollywood actor since the 1970s, was recognized for his direct approach. Ranbir pointed out how Riddhima, who chose a career in jewelry design instead of following the family’s acting path, has taken after their father’s unfiltered manner. Ranbir mentioned that Riddhima is very expressive of her emotions, a quality their father also had.
Ranbir looked back on their childhood, remembering that despite the playful teasing, there was a deep affection between the siblings. He recalled how Riddhima, feeling jealous at his birth, would pinch his cheeks—a funny memory their mother Neetu Kapoor shared on the show. Thinking about their father’s impact, Ranbir stressed Riddhima’s openness.
“She’s very similar to my father.
Ranbir reflects on Riddhima’s traits
Whatever she is thinking, whatever is in her heart, she can express it well,” he said.
Rishi Kapoor’s influence appears clear in Riddhima’s frank and confident personality. Rishi Kapoor died on April 30, 2020, after a long fight with cancer. His passing deeply affected the Kapoor family.
Neetu Kapoor shared on the show how both she and Riddhima were greatly impacted, often finding themselves emotional when thinking about him. The third season of Fabulous Lives Vs. Bollywood Wives debuted on Netflix last week.
This season brought in new characters from Delhi, including Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, who joined the cast from the previous seasons. The Delhi additions also included Kalyani Saha Chawla and Shalini Passi, mixing with familiar faces Bhavana Pandey, Neelam Kothari, Seema Sajdeh, and Maheep Kapoor. In a more lighthearted moment, Riddhima shared on the show that she had a big crush on actor Sanjay Kapoor, which amused Maheep Kapoor.
This season promises more such honest moments, giving viewers a closer look at the personal lives of Bollywood’s elite.
