The Redmi K80 and K80 Pro have been officially launched in China. The devices come with top-tier Snapdragon chipsets and huge batteries. The K80 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
It scored 3,194,766 on AnTuTu. The phone has a D1 gaming chip, dual-loop 3D ice cooling, and Rage Engine 4.0 for 120fps gaming at 2K resolution. It packs a 6,000mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless fast charging.
The K80 Pro has a triple rear camera setup. It includes a 50MP Light Fusion 800 sensor with OIS, a 32MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP telephoto-macro unit. There is also a 20MP front-facing camera.
The device features a 2K AMOLED flat display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Other features include an ultrasonic fingerprint reader, Dragon Crystal Glass 2.0, and IP68/IP69 ratings. It runs on Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0.
The standard K80 is expected to have similar specs.
It will likely be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. The phone is said to have a 6,500 mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging support. The K80 will have a similar primary camera as the Pro.

But it will have a downgraded 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro unit. A 20MP selfie camera is also expected.
Both phones will sport the same materials and IP rating. They will run on Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0 and feature an ultrasonic fingerprint reader. Xiaomi has also revealed the repair costs for the K80 series.
The most expensive part is the display, priced at 610 yuan ($84) for the K80 and 620 yuan ($86) for the Pro. The battery is relatively affordable at just 119 yuan ($16) for the K80 and 159 yuan ($22) for the Pro. Other components like the rear cameras, front camera, speaker, and earpiece are priced reasonably.
The motherboard, the most critical component, is priced at 2,330 yuan ($321). The K80 Pro’s telephoto camera module, a unique feature, is priced at 140 yuan ($19). These pricing details provide valuable insights for consumers considering the Redmi K80 series.
The Redmi K80 Pro is expected to be priced between CNY 3,599 to CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs 41,900 to Rs 46,600) in China. The previous model, Redmi K70 Pro, was priced from CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs 38,400). The Redmi K80 and K80 Pro are anticipated to launch globally as the Poco F7 and Poco F7 Pro, respectively.
In India, however, only the vanilla Poco F7 is expected to be available.
