Warner Bros. Discovery has hired Eric Pallotta as the group senior VP of global brand, social, and editorial for its direct-to-consumer streaming division, Max. Pallotta will develop global social strategies and editorial campaigns for Max in this new role.
He will also work with Zach Enterlin, executive VP of brand, content, and creative for HBO and Max, to oversee the brand’s marketing efforts. Pallotta has over 18 years of experience in entertainment and consumer startups. He recently worked as CMO of Hatch, a company that makes bedside sleep machines and original audio content.
Earlier in his career, he worked at the public relations firm PMK-BNC.

Pallotta worked at Netflix for a decade, where he pioneered the streaming giant’s social media strategy for online engagement worldwide. In August 2024, WBD appointed Spenley to lead its streaming marketing efforts as global CMO of direct-to-consumer.
She oversees all marketing, subscriber growth and retention, research, and other key areas for WBD’s streaming products, including Max and Discovery+, and reports to JB Perrette, CEO and president of global streaming and games. Warner Bros. Discovery’s Max continues to expand its content offerings and improve user experience, in line with its objective of becoming a leading player in the streaming market.
Pallotta’s expertise is expected to play a crucial role in these endeavors, driving forward the company’s vision and setting new benchmarks in digital marketing excellence.
