Samsung has officially confirmed January 22, 2025, as the date for its next Unpacked event. The company teaser suggests that four new devices will be unveiled, likely to be the Galaxy S25 series smartphones.

The lineup is expected to include the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Ultra, and a new variant called the Galaxy S25 Slim.

The event will start at 6 PM UTC, which translates to 1 PM ET, 7 PM CET, and 11:30 PM IST. The Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ are anticipated to share similar features, with the main differences being the screen size and battery capacity. The Galaxy S25 Ultra will feature notable upgrades, including a shift to a more oval shape while retaining the S Pen.

This flagship model will emphasize top-tier specifications.

The Galaxy S25 Slim is rumored to include a 6.66-inch screen and a rear camera setup with 200 MP main, 50 MP ultrawide, and 50 MP telephoto cameras. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and a 5,000 mAh battery.

As the name suggests, the Slim model will be thinner and lighter but might miss out on additional features like wireless charging and a periscope lens for the telephoto camera. The Unpacked event will be live-streamed across all of Samsung’s social media channels. Fans can tune in to get a firsthand look at the new additions to the Galaxy lineup.

Samsung’s Galaxy S25 series debut

Samsung has also confirmed the release dates for its latest flagship smartphones. Pre-orders for the new Galaxy S25 series are anticipated to begin two days after the event, on Friday, Jan.
