Apple is gearing up to release iOS 18.4, a major update for the iPhone that is expected to enhance Siri and expand Apple Intelligence features significantly. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the first developer beta of iOS 18.4 could be released as early as next week or the following week.

Apple gearing up for iOS enhancements
Apple Intelligence, currently available on the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and all models in the iPhone 16 series will also be expanded to more countries and languages.
The update will introduce support for Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, and Vietnamese. In addition to Siri upgrades, iOS 18.4 is expected to introduce new emojis, such as a face with bags under the eyes, a fingerprint, a leafless tree, a root vegetable, a harp, a shovel, and a splatter. The update will also include tweaks to default app choices in the European Union to comply with the Digital Markets Act.
The anticipated timeline for iOS 18.4 is as follows:
