#FriendsAreWaiting was an immediate success. On the day it launched, there were 532,000 views within one hour, and in its first week, it received more than 2.5 million views. Users also showed their enthusiasm with 61,843 Retweets and 56,729 favorites.
My responsibilities encompass corporate marketing … across the organization, which includes communications and research, but for about two years now, I actually head up national sales. We realigned the organization to have sales reporting into marketing, which we think is a great differentiator as we go into the marketplace. And a lot of product companies have it that way today—not necessarily media companies—but I think that relationship makes a difference for us.
