Oracle’s Social Cloud is expanding its global clientele by adding support for seven new languages to its listening platform.
Customers using Oracle’s Social Relationship Management software for social media listening and management will now be able to do so in Bahasa, Turkish, Finnish, Thai, Norwegian, Swedish and Polish. That brings the total number of languages it supports to 18.
“With the global social networking audience reaching 2.33 billion by 2017, there’s no doubt that successful businesses need to be globally social,” said Oracle Social Cloud Group VP Meg Bear in a blog post. “Removing language barriers is critical to improving an organization’s social listening, learning and engagement capabilities.”
For global brands, this will be a welcome addition as they expand their listening capabilities to even more customer bases around the world. Currently Oracle already offers support for social media listening and sentiment analysis in Chinese, English, French, German, Portuguese and Spanish, and it says users can expect more languages to come.
