R.R. Donnelley announced today it has completed its acquisition of Consolidated Graphics, which provides digital and commercial printing,
fulfillment services, and print management solutions. The purchase price
was estimated at $620 million plus the assumption of Consolidated
Graphics’ net debt, according to a statement.
At the time of the
original agreement, Consolidated Graphics Chairman and CEO Joe R. Davis
said the wide range of the two companies’ services and geographic reach
would benefit customers of both companies.
“This strategic
combination will…further enhance our ability to provide integrated
communications solutions for clients across all industry verticals,”
Thomas J. Quinlan III, R.R. Donnelley’s president and CEO, said in a
statement.
