Even though he’s had a few well publicized battles with YouTube, Prince isn’t averse to social media. The pop star behind the hits “Purple Rain” and “When Doves Cry” joined Twitter today under the handle @3rdeyegirl, which is the name of his new band.
The epic description on his profile reads as follows:
“4 HARD-ROCKING, SOFT-SPOKEN, ASTRAL TRAVELING EXPLOSIONS OF AWESOME”
However, despite being a rock and pop icon, Prince’s foray into tweeting was decidedly uncool. He titled all his tweets as “PRINCE’S 1ST TWEET,” “PRINCE’S 2ND TWEET” and so on.
Oh, and then he tweeted this picture of himself from back in the day.

And then he tweeted a picture of his food, with a pointed query about his spice usage.
