Frozen dessert company Tasti D-Lite has selected Engage121 as its social CRM platform provider as the company expands globally.
The Franklin, Tenn.-based yogurt company will use Engage121’s services to assist in the measurement of various campaigns, social mentions, customer sentiment and feedback, said BJ Emerson, social technology officer at Tasti D-Lite, confirmed via email June 29.
In addition, he claimed the technology would enable Tasti D-Lite “to help us listen more effectively, engage customers online and provide a greater level of customer service.”
Tasti D-Lite does not consider Engage121 its social CRM agency of record.
The company managed much of its social presence internally for the last three years in-house, but decided to license Engage121’s technology because it was a “hosted solution that helps us scale as we expand through a franchise model domestically, as well as internationally,” said Emerson.
“Beyond meeting our technical requirements, we saw that Engage121 was actually investing in the online communities that it claims to serve,” added Emerson. “We feel this is important in selecting a partner who will assist us in our continued efforts to be a social-friendly brand.”
Tasti D-Lite has already started using the platform to push content “like” contests and promotions to more than 20 Facebook franchise pages.
The company operates 56 locations in 12 states and three countries. Emerson said Tasti D-Lite will open more than 300 locations in the coming years.
