CRM Manager, a software as a service (SaaS) consulting firm, will complete its acquisition of CRM consulting and training firm Redxlerant in January 2009.
The acquisition, for an undisclosed price, is expected to help Philadelphia-based CRM Manager expand its operations nationally. Both companies are Salesforce.com partners and work with a variety of companies, including Modspace, e-Rewards, DuPont and Elsevier.
“We know Redxlerant’s CEO [Ernie Megazzini] well: he’s done some projects for us, and we’ve had the chance to work with him, so the acquisition made sense,” explained Andy Atkins, founder and CEO of CRM Manager. “We’re looking to expand, and having someone like Megazzini, who has been doing Salesforce.com implementations forever, is a great asset. Our plans have always been to expand because this is a good industry in high demand, and this makes more sense than me opening up a new office and staffing that.”
Redxlerant CEO, Ernie Megazzini, will stay on as a managing partner with the expanded CRM Manager, but Redxlerant co-founder and president Raymon Howington will leave after the company’s transition. All other Redxlerant employees are expected to stay on, and additional hires are planned.
The company will maintain its focus on Salesforce.com and Google Enterprise implementations.
Atkins said his goals were to continue doubling CRM Manager’s year-over-year revenue while adding more offices. Ohio and Washington, DC, locations are already planned.
