E-mail marketing service firm MailChimp has released an upgraded version of its Inbox Inspector tool, which allows users to see how e-mail campaigns look in 16 different e-mail clients including Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo Mail, Lotus Notes, AOL and Earthlink.
The tool also lets e-mail marketers check e-mail for content normally stopped by spam filters. Inbox Inspector predicts how e-mails look with or without images.
MailChimp uses technology developed by Return Path to test e-mail campaigns in major e-mail programs, spam filters, and corporate firewalls.
Inbox Inspector generates reports about spam filter blocking in e-mail campaigns.
When activated, the tool is available inside MailChimp’s user interface. As an add-on to MailChimp, Inbox Inspector costs only $13 per inspection or it can be used as a standalone product.
