Interactive recruiting firm TargetX has launched MyCampusVisits.com, a search engine designed to help college students find out information about university events.
The site operates as a search engine aimed at students and parents searching for events by college name, date and religious affiliation. Searches will link back to a college’s Web site with a profile of the school and an information request form.
The service is free for both users and schools, although any information the student gives will be shared with the identified colleges. The new site, at www.mycampusvisits.com, also will feature open houses, receptions and other recruiting events, based on such criteria as location, cost and size of the school.
Other college search sites include Any College.com, SearchEngineCollege.com and GoCollege.com.
