Direct marketing agency DraftWorldwide, Chicago, has expanded its presence in Europe with the acquisition of Zeta, one of France’s top healthcare agencies. Draft entered Europe with its purchase of Sante in 1990. The combined operations of Sante and Zeta, Paris, make Draft one of France’s five largest pharmaceutical agencies and expands its client roster to include Hoechst Houde, Knoll France and Promedica Chiesi.
Zeta founder Bernard Folzy remains president of the firm and will report to Loie Robert, managing director of Draft healthcare marketing in France.
“We are optimistic about the opportunities this union will bring,” said Draft president of European operations Jean-Paul Dupuy. The merger opens the door to multi-national efforts with the 42 other Draft offices in 22 countries worldwide.
