ERA Sets Eyes on Singapore for December Conference

The Electronic Retailing Association (ERA) rescheduled its 1998 Asian Conference for Dec. 1-3 at the Ritz-Carlton Millenia Hotel, Singapore.

The three day agenda will focus on the Asian DRTV market. Panel discussions and general sessions are planned. Topics will range from the Asian economy and its impact on DRTV to surveying Asian broadcast outlets. There also will be forums on Asian infrastructure, cross-border marketing and comparing DRTV in Asia to that of Europe and the United States.

As with the ERA European Conference held in June in Venice, the Asian Conference will offer a table top exhibition for participating companies to display their services and products.

A Thanksgiving holiday retreat will be held from Nov. 25 to Dec. 1 for those arriving at the conference early. ERA's last meeting was held in Las Vegas in September. That event attracted 2,300 and more than 100 delegates participating in nine council and committee meetings.
