U.S. Intelligence Council, Fairfax, VA, recently selected Stuart/Grey, Frederick, MD, to oversee the organization’s entire national account. The assignment, which involves extensive fundraising work, will include informing members and donors of the issues and legislation for which the organization conducts lobbying efforts.
“We will be contacting the existing donor base as well as actively recruiting prospects,” said Dennis Hoffman, a partner in the agency.
The direct mail campaigns that already have begun will be informative in tone and will discuss security issues that the organization is studying, such as terrorist threats by Saudi Arabian billionaire Osama Bin Ladin.
The agency will prospect by contacting people who have donated to organizations with similar missions, said Hoffman, who noted that members tend to be grass-roots activists who are interested in national security.
