Postal-automation and mail-preparation software provider Firstlogic, La Crosse, WI, last month released Fusion Library 1.0, the latest software in its i.d. Centric product brand.
Fusion Library is a data-consolidation product that integrates with and enhances existing or new matching applications. According to the company, the software requires no re-compiling or re-building of applications. It can be set up in a plain-text configuration file that is kept separate from function calls to let users adjust rules without changing their application software.
Firstlogic said Fusion Library can support priorities field by field.
Earlier this month, Firstlogic announced that it will co-brand Controlled Visions Corp.'s Visions postal cost optimization software. The alliance allows users of Firstlogic's Postalsoft postal automation software to control Mail.dat with electronic auditing and to customize entry-point planning. The Mail.dat file provides mailing facilities with information on their mailings.
Visions can be used with most Postalsoft products, including Presort, Palletized Presort and Printform Presort.
