Lands' End Inc., Dodgeville, WI, reported Jan. 13 that its holiday sales rose 14 percent, to $380 million, for the eight-week period ended Dec. 26, up from $334 million for the same period last year. Excluding $8.9 million from The Territory Ahead, in which the company had a majority interest during this period last year, net sales for the period increased 17 percent. Net income for the eight-week period was $39 million, up 16 percent from the $33.6 million earned in the similar holiday period in 1996.
