Digital marketing agency Zeta Interactive has signed five new clients: water services company United Water, auto retail and service chain Pep Boys, financial services information company SourceMedia, video content site The NewsMarket and boutique and luxury chain Tablet Hotels.
According to the agency, Zeta Interactive will be providing a number of digital marketing services to these clients including search engine optimization, paid search, creative services and Web site development.
“Most of the marketers we deal with are being told by their finance groups that their marketing budgets are tightening and they need to do a better job in terms of optimizing their dollars spent in this area,” said Al DiGuido, CEO of Zeta Interactive, which is headquartered in New York.
United Water, which is an investor-owned company, first began working with Zeta to revamp its Web site two to three months ago, said Rich Henning, SVP communications and external affairs at United Water. The company’s existing Web site, which was launched about 10 years ago, is more of a brochure site and doesn’t meet the company’s current needs, he added.
In contrast, the new site will be used to provide better customer service, grow business, recruit new talent and attract investors, Henning said. “Our customers have to be able to come in there and have a customer experience that’s worthwhile for them — that means seeing your bill or paying your bill online,” Henning said. There are also plans to add a blog to the site, perhaps addressing water quality issues, he added. In addition, United Water would like to have the ability to proactively target its customers when an emergency happens, he said.
So far, Zeta has worked with United Water to complete a “wire frame” of its new Web site, Henning said. They are now moving on to creative and copy, he added. “We are very pleased with the work that’s done thus far,” he said.
