Adobe has launched a global skilling initiative to equip 30 million learners with essential skills in AI literacy, content creation, and digital marketing by 2030. The program aims to empower members of the creator economy and build on Adobe’s decade-long success in offering upskilling and career pathways. This year, Adobe has committed more than $100 million in donations, scholarships, product access, and partnerships to support storytelling and creativity globally.

Training and certification will be available through collaborations with Coursera, NGOs, schools, colleges, universities, and alternative education organizations. The curriculum will include courses such as Social Media Content, Multimedia Content, Content Marketing, Multi-channel Content, Advertising, Generative AI Content Creation, and Creative & AI Skills. These courses are now available globally on Coursera, allowing learners to gain creative and digital skills at their own pace.

Aspiring learners can achieve Content Creator and Graphic Designer Professional Certificates, with additional certificates in digital marketing expected by early 2025.

Adobe is also allocating $250,000 in scholarship licenses through nonprofit organizations to provide access to these courses on Coursera.

Adobe is expanding its partnership with Digital Academy to include bootcamps focused on marketing and content creation. Participants will receive free access to live and on-demand training, career coaching, personal branding, and portfolio-building resources. The first U.S. cohort is set to begin in November, with additional cohorts in the U.S., U.K., and India starting in January 2025.

Adobe is working with a range of organizations globally, including DECA, NPower, BUILD, The King’s Trust, Girl Scouts of Western Washington, and Pratham. These partnerships aim to prepare students for careers in marketing, business, communications, and creative fields, support professional development programs for underserved communities, incorporate creative skills into college and career readiness curricula, and enhance children’s creative learning and technology access in under-resourced areas. Adobe’s new skilling initiative represents a significant investment in the future of digital education and workforce readiness.

By partnering with educational institutions and nonprofit organizations around the world, Adobe is ensuring that learners everywhere have the opportunity to acquire essential skills for the digital age.
