Apple released iOS 18.3 Public Beta 2 on Tuesday. The update is available to developers and public beta testers. It offers a few improvements and bug fixes over the previous version.

While the beta doesn’t feature major updates, it showcases several minor enhancements. One notable change is the ability to repeat operations in the Calculator app without re-entering the equation. This feature allows users to double a number by pressing the equal sign multiple times.

It was previously removed in an earlier update but has now been reinstated. The beta also includes minor aesthetic tweaks.

For example, there is a dark mode icon for the Camera Control option in Settings. However, beyond these small visual changes, most updates appear to be internal. As this is only the second public beta of iOS 18.3, more updates and features may be added.

The final version has not been released to the public yet. Apple has not announced a release date for the official iOS 18.3.

If you decide to try out the beta, it’s recommended to download it on a secondary device. Since it is not the final version, the update may contain bugs.

Battery life may also be affected. For more updates on iOS, stay tuned for further announcements from Apple.
