Database marketing agency Merkle has announced that the Arthritis Foundation, the largest private nonprofit organization devoted to arthritis research, has renewed its marketing contract.
Merkle will continue to provide database management, strategic advice, printing, mailing response and list support and fundraising insight among other services for the Atlanta-based Arthritis Foundation.
“We really use a lot of database and analytics to help drive our fundraising strategy, which then helps us drive creative development,” said Roger Himaya, VP, applied strategies at Merkle.
“Merkle has been instrumental in developing new integrated customer marketing strategies and using predictive modeling to help us more effectively target our acquisition and renewal fundraising campaigns and battle rising paper and postage costs,” said Chris Griffin, group VP, customer relationship marketing for the Arthritis Foundation in a statement.
Merkle, based in Columbia, MD, has been working with and providing service for the Arthritis Foundation since 2003.
“During the past several years, Arthritis Foundation has experienced positive results by actively engaging its mid-level donors and adopting other approaches that involve events and the Internet,” said Carter Wade, VP, fundraising group director at Merkle in a statement. “We are excited to continue working alongside Arthritis Foundation to develop innovative ideas and build on past achievements.”
