Catalyst:SF named digital AOR by Del Monte

San Francisco-based Catalyst:SF has been named the digital agency of record for Del Monte Foods, with digital strategy and digital media responsibilities for all brands, including Del Monte, S&W, Contadina, College Inn, Meow Mix and 9Lives.

Catalyst:SF will work with Del Monte’s other agencies like Smith Brothers Agency and Draftfcb San Francisco to develop an integrated digital strategy, said Cory Treffiletti, Catalyst:SF’s president and managing partner.

The agency will revamp Del Monte’s social media, mobile, search and display advertising.

“We want to funnel all of our expertise in the digital space and take [partner agencies’] ideas and merge them together,” Treffiletti continued, “Our DNA is in partnering with others and uniting the best resources with tactical execution. The process is very collaborative.”

 

Del Monte issued an RFP in December and narrowed the decision down from around 18 agencies.

“We’re excited to begin our work with Catalyst:SF as we collaborate to develop a comprehensive digital marketing and consumer engagement strategy for our portfolio of brands,” said Bill Pearce, SVP and CMO for Del Monte Foods, in a statement. Del Monte is hoping to engage consumers where they spend time online by creating a meaningful and engaging dialog, he continued.

Catalyst:SF’s other clients include AccuQuote, Mevio, Travel Ad Network and FreeWheel.
