Chinnici Direct, a member of MDC Partners Agency, has re-branded itself into Company C.
Founded as a creative boutique in 1982, the former Chinnici Direct grew into a full-fledged direct marketing agency. MDC Partners acquired the agency in 2000, and the New York-based Company C now provides direct and digital marketing services.
The re-branding is intended to reflect the agency’s recent growth, particularly the addition of new technologies, customer services and leadership talent. Chinnici’s revenues have also grown by 82 percent since 2005.
The company is taking a three pronged approach to re-branding itself. The first is in Company C’s name, which represents the agency’s tagline of “Create. Connect. Compel.” It also connotes the “company” of professionals who work together as well as providing an homage to the agency’s original name.
In a second section of the makeover, Company C is re-branding itself as an agency that provides “meaningful action,” with a focus on accountability, responsibility and active client participation.
The third prong of the agency’s strategy is the growth of its management team. President Nicholas Nocca, along with Martha Jones, general manager, and Alison Monk, group director for accounts services, have all joined Company C within the past few years.
Barnes & Noble, Capital One, MetLife and Virgin Atlantic Airways are among the clients that Company C represents.
