Nito Pro software provides facial recognition and tracking technology that allows clients to create interactive 3D animated avatars for use in videos and other promotional materials to drive consumer engagement.
Customers can transpose their own voices, facial features, facial movements, and more onto the avatars. Videos and other content containing avatars can be easily shared across social networks and other online sites.

How do you use it?
Right now, we’re using Nito Pro to create avatars of a series of 12 Aarting’s Blankie toys that are created by the artists we represent.
As part of our agreement with Nito, the team takes our Blankie designs and recreates them in 3D in the app for us.
Once you launch the app, there is an easy on-boarding process. You align your face in a box and then the position of your eyes, nose, and mouth. Once your features are aligned, the application brings up a virtual mesh of your face that corresponds to the digital avatar on the screen.
The app captures facial movements, tracking your eyes, nose and mouth, and transfers them to the avatar so your movements then control the avatar’s movements. For example, when I blink, the Blankie toy blinks. When I move my head or my mouth to speak, the toy’s head and mouth move in sync with mine.
Once you’ve created the digital avatar, you can record whatever it is you want it to say or do. Then you can edit it and share it via SMS, email, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and other platforms.
The Pro version of Nito allows you to easily export high-quality movies, which makes it perfect for our artists to use on YouTube, their own websites, etc.
We haven’t had any problems with the application. If we did have a problem, the Nito team is very responsive. They often touch base with us just to make sure things are going smoothly. They’re also really curious about our feedback. It’s been a great working relationship so far.
How does it serve your business needs?
Our business objective is to create products for artists and help sell those products on their behalf. To accomplish that, we’re 100% committed to helping the artists gain as much exposure for themselves as possible.
Nito Pro allows us to give our artists a quick and simple way to create something original that’s tied to their own brand and personality. It’s a great opportunity for our artists to be among the first to use such a cutting edge engagement tool. They can push out their avatars very easily and engage their own community in a way that very few, if any, people can do because Nito Pro’s technology is new.
Everyone knows content is king so our artists try to push out as much as they can. They release photos of works in progress, but that’s become so common it’s now like baseline engagement. Using Nito Pro allows them to engage their audiences in a completely new way by having their toys or artwork talking, interacting, and asking questions.
Response has been pretty amazing. Our artists are seeing big spikes in comments, likes, and shares because it’s almost like playing a game in which their artwork is the star.
Nito Pro is shining a bigger spotlight on our artists and raising their stars in the minds of the people who are following them.
What are the main benefits?
It’s very easy to use – there’s almost no learning curve. It’s incredible how fast you can create something that’s really engaging.
It’s cost effective because we don’t have to build complicated architecture to execute.
What are the main drawbacks?
I haven’t seen any drawbacks yet. Because it’s so new and there’s nothing else like it out there, it takes a little bit of thought and use to understand it’s potential.
What would you like to see improved/added?
Nothing right now. I know Nito plans to roll out some new features soon, and I’m excited about them.
