Crispin Porter + Bogusky, an MDC Partners company, has acquired Daddy, a Swedish digital agency located in Gothenburg, Sweden. The move represents the agency’s first creative hub in Europe, and the agency characterized the deal as the launch of its European operations.
“We’ve made digital the focus of our US business, and with the acquisition of Daddy, it will now be the center of CP + B Europe as well,” said Alex Bogusky, co-chairman, CP + B, in a statement.
CP + B’s client list includes Best Buy, Burger King, Microsoft and Volkswagen. With the Daddy deal, it gains clients such as software maker Autodesk, Heinz and contact lens maker Ciba Vision, as well as Daddy’s interactive branding expertise.
The deal also enables CP + B to better serve its existing clients globally, as well as chase new business. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
