Neteos Inc. Monday launched eRMNOW!, a customizable customer relationship management solution for small and medium-size businesses. This service allows companies to unify sales, marketing and support activities in a single database.
The eRMNOW! service is available in three modules: eRMMarketing for marketing, campaign, lead and channel/partner management; eRMSales for account, opportunity, contact, activity and pipeline management; and eRMSupport for installation, support case and knowledge base management.
The eRMMarketing module can track and measure program effectiveness, import lead information directly from a firm’s Web site, automatically follow up leads and assign them based on business processes, as well as remove duplicates.
The eRMSales module assigns and schedules account activity, synchronizes new leads with existing customer data and tracks upgrades and contract extensions.
The eRMSupport module links service incidents to customer histories; logs support cases; monitors warranty, maintenance and service contracts; and provides a self-support knowledge base for rapid problem resolution.
“The real message is that this is the first Web-based CRM solution to bring the home page and business partners together in a way that is closed loop, where everybody is operating using the same data and business environment,” said Dave McNamara, vice president of sales and marketing for Neteos Inc., Burlington, MA.
Neteos believes its relatively inexpensive solution will serve a market that isn’t interested in expensive client server systems or small, ineffective sales automation tools, according to McNamara. “We’re targeting businesses that earn between $50 and $350 million.”
Acting as an application service provider, Neteos makes the database accessible at all times from any Web browser. This turnkey service, which can be fully integrated with Microsoft Windows, Word and Outlook, can be up and running in days. The cost is a per-seat monthly fee of $50 to $150.
