36 Degrees North, a support hub for entrepreneurs and startups in Tulsa, Oklahoma, has exceeded a stunning one billion in economic impact. This achievement underscores its crucial role in growing small businesses and fueling the local economy through job creation and business development.

The organization also plans to establish a new facility by the end of 2024 to enhance operations and serve a larger client base. This projected expansion is expected to increase productivity and present new job opportunities.

In addition to its core operations, 36 Degrees North operates from three downtown Tulsa locations, working with over 3,000 subscribers and contributing significantly to the growth and development of numerous companies.

36 Degrees North’s economic impact and expansion plans

It is the centerpiece of Tulsa’s innovation sector.

In 2023, this organization directly created close to 3,200 jobs by helping 445 businesses, which realized more than $200 million in gross sales and funding. The following year, an additional 550 businesses received support, resulting in nearly 4,000 new employment opportunities and roughly $250 million in gross earnings.

Ambitiously planning for its expansion, 36 Degrees North will introduce a new 115,000-square-foot facility complete with a café and bar, an event space, startup incubator programs, and dedicated meeting rooms. This initiative aims to nurture budding businesses and facilitate professional and social interactions among its community members.
