DHL announced today that it has been chosen by ThinkGeek.com to provide international shipping services for delivery of online purchases.
ThinkGeek.com offers toys, high-tech gadgets, apparel, and home and office products, which are housed in the ThinkGeek fulfillment center in New Jersey.
The items will be shipped from there to customers via DHL’s international express services. DHL provides additional pickups during the day and operational resources for ThinkGeek.com to accommodate any volume fluctuations during peak season and all year, the company said.
“We’re pleased to partner with DHL and leverage their extensive global network to open up our products to many new markets throughout the world,” said Caroline Offutt, VP and general manager of ThinkGeek.com, in a statement. “International customers have already praised the speed and quality of our service, in part, due to the responsiveness of DHL’s people and reliability of its global network.”
