Skwibble, a Web site that offers sort of e-card/invite hybrids called “skwibbles”, has engaged in an interested partnership with Showtime to promote its show Dexter.
The two sides worked out a deal where Skwibble would create skiwbbles featuring the eponymous start of the show, a serial killer who only kills other serial killers.
The skwibble’s feature clever greetings you can send to a friend or loved one that tie into the show’s murderous theme, such as “Let’s take a stab at a dinner date” and “I hope there’s some people left to celebrate your birthday.”
It will e interesting to see if Showtime continues to use this avenue to promote its brand, and if other company’s follow suit.
