Search engine Yahoo (www.yahoo.com), Santa Clara, CA, and online magazine retailer The Electronic Newsstand (www.enews.com), Washington, announced an agreement that makes The Electronic Newsstand the premier magazine retailer on Yahoo.
Through the agreement, a magazine subscription category will be added to Yahoo retail offerings along with autos, books, computers fragrances, music and gourmet food. Yahoo users also will be able to receive offers and use enews.com's Magazine Recommender, which offers tips on personal and gift purchases. The Electronic Newsstand offers more than 500 magazines from 25 different categories.
