The Email Experience Council, an organization of e-mail marketing practices, has expanded its agreement and partnership with e-mail marketing services firm BrightWave Marketing and its free online metrics site EmailStatCenter.com.
With the expansion of the relationship, BrightWave will join the EEC’s sponsorship roster to enhance their existing relationships.
“This official sponsorship is just a formalization of where we have been going in the past 6 to 12 months with the EEC,” said Simms Jenkins, founder and principal of BrightWave Marketing and EmailStatCenter.com. “We worked with the EEC to form the EmailStatCenter, and it is only natural to formalize it now by becoming a sponsor.”
The EmailStatCenter.com, a centralized online site of statistics and research specific to the e-mail marketing industry, was formed in March, 2007 in a combined effort by the EEC and BrightWave Marketing.
The site came about to offer a central location for e-mail marketing metrics, and to date has 40 categories of measurement including deliverability, the most trafficked page on the site.
“The site is seeing traffic from most of the key players in the e-mail marketing industry and we’d like to add even more metrics to give these e-mail marketers more insight,” added Jenkins.
