How do you use it?
It’s very easy to use. Once you purchase the app, you log on to Facebook and follow the prompts. It’s a simple drop-down menu process.
I use Pagemodo on multiple Facebook pages to manage pages for our members. Once you are on a page, you can post articles to both Facebook and Twitter, design and post banners, post a quote, or create a status update. You can post in real time or schedule posts to go live.
There’s an articles section where you can choose different types of articles to post. For example, if you’re an accountant and want to post an article about tax tips, but don’t want to write it yourself, you can find one and post it.
If there’s a problem, you can contact Pagemodo by phone or email through the support section of its website. There’s also a pop-up screen that asks how Pagemodo can make your experience better.
I’ve only had one question and used phone support, which was great. The team fixed my problem on the spot. ?
How does it serve your business needs?
Women Owned Business Club has more than 450 members in the US. We promote women in business every day on social networks.
In between promotional posts, we need to post different types of content. Women want to see photos, inspirational quotes and banners, and tips. We use Pagemodo to build these.
There are so many different options on Pagemodo for what we need. We can post quotes, tips, design banners with our own branding, and choose photos that go with topics we’re addressing in posts.
When you post a quote with a great picture, it can go viral if several people share and like it. Ultimately that brings traffic back to our website.
How does it integrate with your existing infrastructure from an IT standpoint?
It’s a Facebook app.
What are the main benefits?
You can put your own branding in banners. The photos are great, and you have the ability to schedule posts.
What would you like to see improved/added?
I always want fresh new photos. Previously, you couldn’t save a design after you made it. I mentioned this to Pagemodo, and within a week they added that functionality.
