WPP’s GroupM, a media investment management organization, has announced plans to consolidate and restructure its global search marketing operations. The changes will take place immediately, the company said.
According to the company, the change will involve combining four previously independent entities: Outrider, Catalyst, 24/7 Search and Quisma.
One overall goal of these changes is to “more closely integrate search with the overall communications planning and implementation service of GroupM’s agencies,” the company said.
“The aggregation of these assets represents an exceptional gathering of people, technology and geographic footprint and an opportunity for our agencies to integrate search in a top quality proposition around the world,” said Rob Norman, CEO of GroupM Interaction Worldwide, in a statement.
GroupM is the parent company of MediaCom, Mediaedge:cia, MindShare and Maxus.
