GSI Global Marketing Services International said May 25 that it has promoted Simone Barratt to the newly-created role of president.
She will be responsible for developing an international presence for the company and driving business growth across the Europe, Middle East and Africa and Asia-Pacific regions, the company said in a statement.
Barratt will also oversee global operations and international business affairs for GSI’s product businesses, the company said. She will continue in her role as managing director of e-Dialog International, where she has served for the past decade. GSI acquired e-Dialog in 2008.
Barratt will also collaborate with GSI subsidiaries ClearSaleing, FetchBack, Pepperjam, M3 Mobile Marketing and MBS Insight, to launch their products and services across international markets, the company said in a statement. GSI acquired ClearSaleing in January and FetchBack in June 2010.
Prior to her role at e-Dialog, Barratt worked for seven years at the Interpublic Group of Companies as founder, group director and managing director of Zentropy Partners, a digital firm that was folded into MRM Partners Worldwide.
Christopher Saridakis, CEO of GSI Global Marketing Services, said in a statement that Barratt’s experience “will be a major advantage as we launch new services over the coming few years.”
GSI was acquired by eBay in March.
