Havas reported about $1.1 billion in first-half 2011 revenue, a 5.6% organic increase compared with the prior year.
The holding company’s income from operations was up 13% in the first six months of the year to approximately $137.3 million, and net income grew 8% to about $77 million.
North American revenue in the first half was approximately $365 million, according to the present conversion rate from Euros to dollars, representing 8.1% organic growth compared with 2010.
Havas owns and operates the Euro RSCG Worldwide network and creative agency Arnold Worldwide. Organic growth represents change in revenue without measuring the impact of acquisitions or disposals.
Havas CEO David Jones said in an earnings statement that “organic growth was particularly strong in Latin America, Asia-Pacific and North America for the first six months.”
