Asad Rehman, a 20-year-old Pakistani-born entrepreneur, is making waves in the AI industry with his startup LTV.ai. Founded when Asad was just 19, along with Canadian co-founder Kevin Kai, the company aims to revolutionize how e-commerce brands communicate with their customers. LTV.ai uses AI to create personalized email and SMS marketing campaigns based on factors like location, past purchases, and customer feedback.

This approach has proven effective, with clients seeing 13-22% increases in sales through these channels. The company has attracted partnerships with major US retailers such as Sur La Table, Backcountry, Beginning Boutique, and Cuyana. It has also secured seven-figure investments from prominent tech figures, including Afterpay founder Nick Molnar, Honey founder George Ruan, and CSC Generation founder Justin Yoshimura.

Asad’s journey to success wasn’t easy. He spent four months perfecting LTV.ai’s outreach strategy, working 16-hour days to test different approaches. His efforts paid off, resulting in a 2.5-3% booking rate for cold emails – an impressive feat in B2B sales.

Asad’s journey in AI marketing

LTV.ai’s mission goes beyond improving email marketing. The company aims to address the issue of marketing teams spending massive resources on campaigns that only resonate with a small portion of their audience.

With rising customer acquisition costs and declining lifetime value, brands are eager to try new solutions that drive incremental revenue. After raising millions in investment in 2023 and building the company remotely, LTV.ai is now closing its Series A round and moving to Austin. Under Asad’s leadership as Head of Growth, the company doubled month-over-month from July through December 2024.

They are actively hiring across all departments to keep up with demand. Asad hints at upcoming partnerships with some of the world’s largest retailers, set to adopt LTV.ai through early 2025 and beyond. The company’s ultimate goal is to become the primary way brands communicate with their customers, replacing complicated marketing systems with a simpler, AI-driven approach.

As a young Pakistani entrepreneur succeeding in the US tech scene, Asad’s story could inspire a new wave of Pakistani representation in the industry. With AI democratizing opportunities and young founders like Asad proving what’s possible, we may see more Pakistani entrepreneurs building significant companies in the US tech landscape.
