Objective
The objective of this contest is to design a logo for the John Caples International Awards, which honors the best in direct and interactive marketing around the world.
Eligibility
The contest is open to creative professionals at all agencies internationally.
Deadline
All entries must be emailed to [email protected] by Friday, January 27, 2012 at 11:59pm ET.
Guidelines
You are designing a logo for the John Caples International Awards. The Caples Awards was founded in 1978 by Andi Emerson, a direct marketing pioneer, in order to honor well-recognized copywriter John Caples.
The logo must contain the words “John Caples International Awards” and no other text. It will be used online and in print therefore needs to be easily resized if necessary. The final version of the logo will need to be high resolution and print quality.
Due to the requirements for high quality printing and re-sizing, all entries must submitted in scalable vector graphic format (EPS) and converted to outlines. Color must be CMYK, no spot colors.

- Entries must conform to the guidelines listed above
- All submissions must be emailed to [email protected]
- Artwork must be submitted as an attachment in EPS format (no links)
- Include your contact details: name, agency name, agency address, phone number, and email address
- Only one entry per person allowed
Prize
The winning design will be announced at the John Caples International Awards dinner and presentation on March 22, 2012.
Judging and Selection of Winner
The winning logo will be selected by a judging committee of Caples representatives. Their decision will be final. The winner will be required to sign a contract assigning all ownership of the logo to Haymarket Media.
