Leading fashion retailer Liz Claiborne Inc. has selected Responsys for its e-mail marketing services.
The Responsys e-mail platform will be used with www.lizclaiborne.com to target shoppers with marketing messages.
“They really want to reach out to their customers on a more individualized basis to create a more rewarding experience on the Liz Claiborne Web site,” said Jeff Hassemer, director of product marketing for Responsys.
“This move was really about taking the next level jump in their e-mail, to make it more personalized with dynamic content, and easier with segmentation,” he said.
The Responsys platform is already pre-integrated with Liz Claiborne’s e-commerce site, which is powered by GSI, and its Web analytics platform powered by Omniture, so there was no integration process. With these systems working together, the customer behavior information is aggregated into one system.
