Chris Golec has spent most of the last two decades creating platforms that have transformed the B2B market.
First he founded Supplybase to help global manufacturers collaborate with their supply chain to bring new products to market. After i2 Technologies bought it for $380 million in 2000, Chris turned his attention to helping companies build and manage demand generation operations. It was clear that the $35 billion B2B marketing segment needed a tailored platform, so he raised more than $90 million and built Demandbase.
Demandbase has dramatically changed the way businesses market and sell to other businesses online. Examples include pioneering a way for B2B companies to engage in ABM digitally at scale.
Chris advanced Demandbase’s ABM capability with the acquisition of data science company Spiderbook last May. He then launched DemandGraph, the first AI-driven solution that captures and monitors in-depth business behavior and relationships worldwide.
Demandbase consistently wins “Best Place to Work” awards, and Chris has a 97% CEO approval rating on Glassdoor.com. Colleagues described him as a no-drama CEO who genuinely cares about others and leads through a lens of Midwestern values.
