Mimeo.com has opened a new 75,000-square foot data center and Web-enabled print production and distribution facility in Newark, NJ.
The company, which provides online, on-demand printing for business documents and marketing materials, began operations in Newark in September to meet the needs of its growing customer base, particularly in the Northeast. Mimeo.com had record sales in September, increasing revenue by 18% compared to the same period last year.
“The opening of our new, state-of-the-art facility in Newark, NJ, is an important step toward strengthening Mimeo.com’s production, distribution and overall time to market on the East Coast,” said Adam Slutsky, CEO of Mimeo.com, in a statement. “It also allows the company to confidently offer a multiple location production model that many of our clients demand.”
The new facility is adjacent to major shipping and distribution hubs, enabling Mimeo.com to provide overnight delivery of documents and business materials. The facility has the capacity to produce more than 1 million printed pages daily.
Mimeo.com recently hired 98 new application development and sales professionals and expects to hire at least 85 more by year’s end.
