Mondial Assistance, provider of specialty insurance and emergence assistance services, has tapped Experian QAS Pro and QAS MatchIT to help manage address data on US customers. Mondial’s best-known US operation is Access America travel insurance and concierge services.
QAS will provide the company with address verification and duplication checks, which Mondial executives expect to increase efficiency and improve customer service. The QAS Pro software, which verifies addresses collected through Mondial’s call center, and MatchIT, which checks for and eliminates duplicate entries, also should help Mondial maintain compliance with insurance industry regulations and reduce its mailing costs. Paul Hampton, manager of application administration for Mondial, reports that the company inputs 2,000 addresses a day.
“Mondial sells travel insurance and concierge services, so the place where the client is at the time is very important,” said Beatriz Santin, director of marketing for Experian QAS. “They’re not just taking that address once when they’re selling the policy, but they continue to service customers and need that verification updated.”
QAS’s real-time verification capabilities and its Linux and PeopleSoft compatibility were strong selling points for the software, Santin added. Mondial opted to try QAS after switching to a Linux platform, which its old data quality software did not support. The QAS software is fully integrated with the PeopleSoft application that Mondial uses and was up and running within a week.
Experian QAS serves a number of clients in the financial and insurance space, including Educational Employees Credit Union and Mission Federal Credit Union.
