Ogilvy New York has installed individual leaders at the top of its advertising and direct businesses for the first time in approximately three years. Both will report to Carla Hendra, chairman of Ogilvy New York and CEO, Ogilvy North America.
Simon Pearce is the new managing director of Ogilvy & Mather Advertising. He will be responsible for the New York office’s advertising business, focusing on both current clients and new business development.
Harvey Kipnis is the new managing director of OgilvyOne. He will be charged with driving continued growth of one-to-one marketing and will continue to lead a portfolio of OgilvyOne accounts, including IBM demand generation and TD Ameritrade.

Pearce and Kipnis “both have a track-record of success … inspiring big ideas that sell in the marketplace,” said Hendra, in a statement.
Ogilvy North America is part of media conglomerate WPP Group.
